Earlier this year, Poco announced their flagship Poco F4 GT smartphone, but the company later announced that they would be following it up with the Poco F4 5G and the Poco X4 GT, and if you’re looking for a more affordable smartphone, then perhaps these two models might be worth checking out.
Starting with the Poco F4, despite it being part of the F4 lineup, it looks very different from the Poco F4 GT. It sports a more plain-looking design, which isn’t a bad thing, and under the hood instead of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a Snapdragon 870 is found. It will also feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The cameras on the phone consist of a 64MP f/1.79 sensor with OIS, a first for a Poco phone, along with an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens. There will also be a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
As for the Poco X4 GT, the phone will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and a 6.6-inch LCD with a 144Hz refresh rate, the fastest refresh rate we’ve seen in a Poco handset to date. Seeing as this is part of the GT series designed with gaming in mind, Poco has also equipped the phone with LiquidCool Technology 2.0 for better heat management.
The phone also comes with a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP main shooter and a 2MP macro camera, with a 20MP selfie cam topping things off. There will also be a 5,080mAh battery that also supports 67W charging.
In terms of pricing, the Poco F4 will be priced starting at €399 while the X4 GT will be priced starting at €379. Both phones will be available for purchase soon and will have early bird between the 27th of June to the 7th of July.
