At the moment, Google has a couple of earbuds under the Pixel lineup. This includes the regular Pixel Buds and the Pixel Buds A-series, but it looks like the company could actually be working on a new pair of higher-end earbuds in the form of the Pixel Buds Pro.
This is according to a tweet by Jon Prosser who claims that the Pixel Buds Pro is coming and that it will be available in four different colors. Not much is known about the earbuds at the moment, but it has been speculated that this could be Google’s answer to Apple’s AirPods Pro.

What this means is that Google could finally introduce active noise cancellation on the earbuds. Right now, the Pixel Buds and Pixel Buds A-series do not have noise cancellation, and seeing as this is becoming a very common feature we’re seeing on a variety of true wireless earbuds, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was one of its rumored features.
There’s also no mention of when the earbuds will be launched, but seeing as Google I/O is coming up soon later this month, and with Prosser’s claim that it will be launched soon, perhaps Google will have more details about the rumored device then. Until then, it’s probably best to take this with a grain of salt.
