Google’s Android app now offers a new privacy option that allows users to remove their search history fast. Google has begun rolling out this feature, which should be available to everyone within the next few weeks. Users of the Google app will be able to remove the last 15 minutes of search history with the latest update.
This functionality was first made accessible on Google’s iOS app and was first unveiled at last year’s Google I/O event in May. It is now available for Android users as well. If you have the Google app installed on your Android phone and want to use this feature, follow the steps below.

- Open the Google app on your smartphone or tablet
- Press on your profile image
- Tap on “Delete last 15 minutes

For those who don’t know, Google also provides three different choices for deleting search history automatically. The option to remove search history can be set to 3, 18, or 36 months. Chrome users can also delete their search history fast by going to the settings area. To erase the ones you don’t want to view in your search history, simply tap on the three-dotted button, tap again on History, and then tap on the cross (x) icons. You’ll also discover a Clear browsing data option in the same section.”
