Just last month, OnePlus released a new “feature” for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro which introduced its Bitmoji Always-on Display. Today, the company has pushed a new OxygenOS 11 update to the OnePlus 8T that includes the same functionality. This latest update arrives with build 11.0.10.10 and is rolling out to OnePlus 8T owners in North America, Europe, and India.
With this new AOD display option, you can have your personal Bitmoji avatar greet you whenever you look at your phone. The avatar will update itself throughout the day based on what you’re doing along with whatever is going on around you.
Also included in this update is support for the OnePlus Buds Pro, which is slated to arrive in Europe on August 25, and in North America on September 1. And those who are in India will see a new app installed, as the OnePlus Store is now pre-installed with the build. However, OnePlus points out that if you don’t want to keep the app on your phone, you can simply uninstall it.
