If you’re looking for a reprieve from all of the news coming out of Google I/O, then Poco has you covered. The Xiaomi-owned company has announced its latest handset with the Poco M3 Pro series, including a 4G and 5G version depending on where you are.

The M3 Pro is the first 5G budget device from Poco, which is possible thanks to the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor powering this beast. In our review of the Oppo Reno 5 Pro, the Dimensity 1000+ was indistinguishable from the Snapdragon 888 in most tasks, which has us excited to see what the Dimensity 700 will bring to the table.

Along with MediaTek’s latest processor, the Poco M3 Pro sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution, while being equipped with the ability to switch between either 60Hz or 90Hz refresh rates. Poco also states that it has a feature called “DynamicSwitch” which is reminiscent of the variable refresh rates we see on flagship Samsung devices as the Poco M3 Pro will automatically switch between 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz in an effort to save some battery.

As for the rest of the “power”, we have either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, along with 64GB or 128GB, but you won’t find a microSD card slot here. Battery life should be a beast with the built-in 5,000mAh cell and can support up to 18W fast charging. Plus, you won’t have to go find another charger, as Poco includes one in the box for you.

On the camera front, the M3 Pro is equipped with a triple camera array on the back, along with an 8MP selfie camera. Headlining the main cameras is a 48MP sensor with 4-in-1 Super Pixel binning. There’s also a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor, both with an aperture of f/2.4.

The Poco M3 Pro will be available from select retailers tomorrow, with pricing starting at €179 for the 4GB/64GB model and going up to €199 if you want double the storage and 6GB of RAM. Poco also confirmed that you will have a chance to get the M3 Pro for either €159 or €179 with some early bird pricing deals starting on May 20th.
