HTC will not show off new phones at Mobile World Congress

0

We now know the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be shown off at Mobile World Congress next month. That basically means all other devices will be buried by the almighty Samsung. Some were worried that this news would cause other manufacturers to hold back device announcements. It sounds like that’s exactly what’s happening with HTC.

Some rumors suggested that we might see the HTC U12 at MWC, but sources familiar with the situation are saying otherwise. Apparently, HTC is pulling the U12 out of MWC and they will have their own event instead. We could see the event sometime in March or April. It’s hard enough for other manufacturers to get noticed all year, let alone when Samsung is showing off new stuff.
