Spotify and SiriusXM join Amazon Echo’s multi-room streaming

0

Amazon added multi-room streaming for several services a couple of months ago, but one glaring omission from the original list was Spotify. Today that omission has been rectified as both Spotify and SiriusXM are now available for multi-room streaming to any device in your home.

Amazon Multi-Room Streaming

  • Spotify (new)
  • SiriusXM (new)
  • iHeartRadio
  • Pandora
  • TuneIn
  • Amazon Music Unlimited

Adding multiple Echo devices to different rooms in your house is a pretty cheap way to create a multi-room audio system and Spotify support will rollout in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, and Ireland. SiriusXM satellite radio support is currently only available for the United States. Currently, the Amazon Echo is available for $79.99 (usually $99.99) as part of Amazon’s holiday sales.
