Amazon Alexa will now tell you the top trending tweets and your notifications

Amazon is continuing to build up the capabilities of its Alexa voice program that was introduced back in 2014 alongside the Amazon Echo. The advancements and updates that have been provided are turning the Amazon Echo lineup into quite the useful in-home accessory.

The latest update is for you Twitter-holics out there who can’t get enough information. Starting today, you can ask Alexa to read off your notifications, read the top trending tweets and hashtags for the day.

The best part of this is there’s nothing you need to do. Just fire up your Amazon Echo and ask away, then you’ll probably learn more about Twitter than you cared to know.
