I’m inherently jealous that Rob probably got to meet the team behind Seesmic at Google I/O yesterday, but I’m also equally as excited about what we learned will be coming out of the Seesmic camp soon: Google Buzz support has been added and – to our delight – works flawlessly. We’ve known for some time now that Seesmic wanted to support more services for all of their platform versions in the near future.
Befitting, seeing as how it was announced at a Google conference. Everyone suggested Facebook would be next in line; Seesmic, however, is still planning to bring more networks as time moves on. As for Google Buzz? I don’t use it much myself, but I did try it out in the developer’s preview and things worked great.
Images that your friends post show up in-line with their associated images, full location and search support works without much of an issue, and you can read, reply to, and ‘like’ comments with ease. If you’d ever hoped for a worthy Google Buzz client to hit the Android market, then Seesmic 1.4 will do wonders for filling that void pretty soon.
I don’t like it. Chunky & it crashes. Sure it’s a beta, but it;s a poor one. It even deletes my account from the app every time I close it :\
Eventhough I’m a Buzz & Twitter user, I’ll stick to twicca (THE BEST APP!) for my tweeting and my trusty webkit browser for buzz.
