Believe it or not, it’s been almost a full year since Game of Thrones first landed on Android devices last December. Crazy how time flies, huh? If you’ve invested this much time (and money) into the series, you’ve no doubt been wondering when things would draw to its inevitable conclusion. Well, now we know.
Telltale Games announced on their blog today that they finally have a release date for Game of Thrones season finale: Tuesday, November 17th. The Ice Dragon will be the 6th and final episode of the choose-your-own-adventure series based on the hit HBO television show and will launch simultaneously across multiple platforms worldwide. Here’s what you can expect to see in episode 6:
“With House Whitehill tightening its grip on Ironrath at the behest of Ramsay Bolton, the remaining Forresters must give their all to save the family, whether through diplomacy, subterfuge, or violent force. In the frozen wilds beyond The Wall, Gared learns the secrets of the mysterious North Grove, and Mira discovers that political games in a King’s Landing controlled by Cersei Lannister often involve the highest stakes of all.”
The first episode of Game of Thrones is free to download on the Google Play Store, with later episodes available via in-app purchases for around $5 a piece. If you’ve loved the series so far, we expect new seasons to arrive at some point in the future, although nothing has been announced at this time.
