It’s Sunday morning and by the pounding of your head and spinning of the room, indicating your Saturday night was a little too awesome. You pull your phone out of your jeans – of course you’re still wearing all of your clothes including your shoes – and search the Googles for “How to cure a hangover”. Now instead of a list of websites claiming they can solve your problem, Google uses their Knowledge graph to help nurse you back to recovery without ever leaving the page.
Okay, Google… let’s talk for a minute:
- Is “very common” a personalized result? You trying to tell me something?
- 3 million? You’re drunk.
- Everyone knows the best cure is hair of the dog
I make light of the feature, but Google has been a godsend for people seeking health related information, and there are now over 900 helpful results in Google’s Knowledge Graph.
Have you felt weird health symptoms, got nervous, consulted Google, and found just what you were looking for without ever leaving the results page? Let us know in the comments!
Or maybe you found this page because you’re actually hungover? Cheers to that blood mary you’ll soon be drinking! And you’re welcome!
