We’re starting to notice a reoccurring theme with these new Verizon ads starring James Franco. After yesterday’s “viral” video showcased Franco speeding around town on his bike, today’s video has the star practically inhaling an iced coffee unawares of those filming him. We get it. James Franco is fast and it’s all because of his new Motorola DROID Turbo and the powerful 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor inside.
With the phone now official out in the open, it’s interesting to see Verizon/Motorola continue making an effort to create buzz for a phone in a series of viral ads that don’t actually show off the phone or its features. At least not yet. Guess there’s still some time left. The Motorola DROID Turbo doesn’t officially launch on Verizon until this Thursday, October 30th.
Almost as pointless/awful as the SPRINT Framily & AMAZON FIRE phone commercials.
At least there’s no spoiled brat children and annoying talking hamsters…
Quite like these ads – it does get the “it’s fast” message across in a subtle way
Anyone see the new Android “and” commercial?
Drinking the coffee that fast has to be the Quick Charging feature.
So it really sucks? Am I getting the wrong message here?
