Samsung has kicked off the CES madness with four tablets that will accommodate to all users. These come in a variety of sizes and types, but in this post we will talk about the Galaxy TabPROs.
These come in 3 different sizes: 12.2 inches, 10.1 inches and 8.4 inches. It is not often that we see a 12.2-inch device, making this a rather interesting device. Are these worth your time and hard-earned money, though? Let’s look at what Samsung is offering.

Thee are some powerful tablets with amazing screen resolutions. As we can see, they are mostly the same except for size and form-factor. One small (but important) difference is that the TabPRO 12.2 does have one more GB of RAM. With 3 GB of RAM, the TabPRO 12.2 should be the best option for those who appreciate good multi-tasking power and large displays.
I am more of an 8-inch screen kind of guy, so if I were to choose between one of these I would go for the 8.4-inch version. There is nothing like the portability of a 7-8 inch tablet. What would you buy?
We are not sure what the price on these bad boys will be just yet, but be sure we will try to get all the details while we are at CES! If you are interested, though, we do know these will be available globally starting Q1, 2014.

I pray they make a Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 Google Play Edition. I wanna stay with Nexus or at least GPE… this is so tempting!
Multiwindow is the key feature. I wish Google had the foresight to built that into Android.

Will be interesting to seems if 12″ is niche or becomes mainstream. Even 10″ seems too much after using 7-8 for a while. I just bought the 2013 Sammy 10″ at Costco last weekend. Good thing it can be returned in 90 days.

I would buy the 7″ version… too bad they didn’t release one :P I found the iPad Mini to be too wide to comfortably palm, and if you want a high-end something at 7″, you’re basically stuck with the Nexus 7, which is openly hostile to portrait-mode users, with its miles of top and bottom bezel.
well, this won’t be as wide as the ipad mini – 16:10 is much narrower than 4:3
Dat resolution. I thought that resolution was good for the 12″, I can’t believe it’s the same on the 8″ model

I do NOT want hardware buttons on my tablets, so these are all out of the running in my mind. Still waiting for an 8.x” tablet a bit better than LG’s Gpad.
The pro 12.2 looks good, I still use the note 10.1 2013 edition with lecturenotes, and I don’t even need a notebook for class anymore. I wish it had hdmi though because mhl has a slight delay :-/.
I think the lte version will be better because of the performance issues the exynos version of the 2014 edition 10.1 had. (plus the free 200mb data per month with T-Mobile is an added bonus).
I actually prefer the hardware keys because the onscreen buttons take up screen real estate.
Edgar! If you get the TabPRO 12.2 LTE, you can have 740 g’s! Thats 739.6 more than sprint!

Alright Price… $399, $499 and $599 for 8.4, 10.1 and 12.2?
That 12.2 is going to be north of $600.
