SUCK IT APPLE! Even if it’s just an initial ruling, it’s good see the USPTO looking at this. I bet Stevie Wonder would have no problems seeing the prior art. How these clowns got that patent in the first place was a cold case for even Sherlock Holmes.

Another win for the patent office
i say a win for consumers, the patent office are the one that created this mess in first place by granting patent like dronken sailors without even looking to see if the patents already existed.
It’s a shame companies can’t get the money back from Apple for licensing patents found to be invalid.
Flixter’s free movie doesn’t mean you get to pick a free movie, it means that they pick a free movie to give you. I got 3, and none of them do I really care to watch. Can’t complain about free movies, but I hoped for better.
Why the hell do you link out to a WSJ story that requires registration or payment to read? There’s no other source that you could find that was easy for us to get to and read about?
