For those that maybe aren’t well accustomed to pop culture there’s this thing, it’s called the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Apparently, every well-known actor is linked to a single man (in some way or another). His name is Kevin Bacon. And everyone has either worked with him directly, or worked with another actor, who’s worked with another actor and so forth — all the way up to 6 people deep.
It’s a fun little game and it looks like Google Now is able to supply users with these answers, providing you with just about any actor’s “Bacon number.” Simply open up Google Now and ask, “What is (insert actors name) bacon number?” Google Now will pull up and read that actor’s Bacon number, along with a list of actors who have been associated with him. We don’t know how Google does it, we’re just thankful that they do.

Yeah, I’m sorry about that, I have a problem with exactness.
Well, if you’re on Jelly Bean — you need to use Google Now to pull up the card, and have the robot lady talk to you.
This information is also available via a simple Google Search. So, you’re kinda right.
My Galaxy Nexus is running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 and I don’t need to use Google Now for that, I just have to tap on the search widget’s microphone icon to launch the Voice Search activity directly, not you?
No offense, but I think this is where you’re mistaken: even the way you do it, as soon as you hit the microphone icon, you’re not using Google Now any more, you’re using the Voice Search. It’s the Voice Search that talks back, Google Now doesn’t answer, it’s “deaf and dumb.”
Yeah, I understand that Now is about the info automatically pulled in the background, but with Jelly Bean, Voice Search and Now are the same app. They’re not 2 separate ones. Which is why I tend to lump the 2 together..
It’s understandable; despite the fact that long pressing a Google Now notification brings you to the Google Search app info, there are many people who make the same mistake, thinking that the search is only a part of the Now app when it’s actually the contrary.
Most of the time I try not to pay attention, but I like this website and when I read something like “Google Now is able to supply users with these answers” here, I think “No… No, no, no, Phandroid, not you…” ^^
Maybe am I too attached to details and must learn to let go.

This was posted on G+ a couple of days ago. Seems some people have found that by comparing this to the Oracle of Bacon, the Google numbers can be off sometimes.
Interestingly enough, though it won’t work on the bacon number search, my personal Bacon Number is 3. :)

I live in S. Korea and just hit up my coteacher for 2 Korean actors and one had a Bacon number of 3 while the other had a Bacon number of 2. AMAZING!
