Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Launches in India with AI-Powered Features

0

Motorola is reviving its edge—literally and figuratively—with the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, launching in India on April 2. On paper, this looks like more than just another spec-boosted mid-ranger. It’s Motorola’s most aggressive play in the AI phone race yet.

Galaxy S25 Ultra deal

At the center of it all is a 6.7-inch all-curved pOLED display, pushing a crisp 1.5K resolution with a staggering 4,500 nits of peak brightness. Motorola isn’t just flaunting specs here—it’s showing off. The Pantone-validated panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. That’s flagship-level visual fidelity at what will likely be a mid-tier price point.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is also India’s first phone to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, a 4nm processor tuned for AI-enhanced photography and video. Motorola layers its own “Moto AI” suite on top, bringing features like Adaptive Stabilization and Catch Me Up, alongside Google’s Circle to Search and Magic Editor tools. This is the year AI becomes a checklist feature—and Motorola’s ticking every box.

But the Edge 60 Fusion isn’t just about visuals and buzzwords. It sports a Pantone-tuned Sony LYT-700C 50MP sensor, an ultra-wide shooter, and a 32MP selfie cam with 4K capture. Motorola claims it’s “segment-leading” in durability too, with IP68, IP69, and MIL-810H certification—a bold claim that could be a differentiator.

A 5,500mAh battery rounds things off with 68W TurboPower fast charging, while Android 15 comes preinstalled, backed by three years of OS updates and four of security.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion might not be here to dethrone flagships, but it’s here to disrupt the comfort zone. It’s feature-rich, AI-forward, and unapologetically bold. Just the way Motorola used to be.
