Blackmagic Design has officially launched Blackmagic Camera for Android 2.0 update, bringing a host of exciting new features that should elevate your mobile filmmaking to the next level.

Galaxy S25 Ultra deal

The update introduces support for additional Android tablets, including the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Samsung Tab S9. It also introduces support for the latest Samsung S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra smartphones.

One of the new additions in this update is the ability to remotely control and monitor multiple cameras. Users can designate one device as a controller. This allows users to adjust settings across all connected Blackmagic Cameras over a shared WiFi network. The multi-view display also enables real-time monitoring of multiple angles. Users can start or stop recording on all cameras simultaneously with a single tap.

The update also enhances performance with support for up to 120 and 240 fps recording on supported Sony Xperia devices. This will give users new creative possibilities for slow-motion videos. Additionally, Blackmagic Camera is now integrated with Tilta Nucleus USB devices, giving users more precise lens control for professional-style shooting.

With its powerful new features and expanded device support, Blackmagic Camera for Android 2.0 is a great tool for filmmakers and content creators. The app is available for free on Google Play, so head on over if you’d like to check it out.
