Think the announcements regarding the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is over and done with? Think again. Samsung actually has at least one more phone in the lineup they haven’t announced yet—the Galaxy S25 Edge. Now thanks to a new leak from Korean publication Sedaily, the launch date of the Galaxy S25 Edge might have been revealed.

Galaxy S25 Ultra deal

According to the publication, the Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to take place on the 16th of April. The handset is then expected to be released and available in stores in May, just a couple of weeks after the official announcement.

However, it seems that Samsung is taking a cautious approach with the Galaxy S25 Edge. The report claims that Samsung is only planning to produce 40,000 units for the first batch. We’re also not sure if the company plans to release the device worldwide, or if it will follow a similar strategy of the Galaxy Z Fold SE and be limited to specific markets.

So far, based on the rumors and leaks, here’s what we know about the phone so far. The Galaxy S25 Edge will be a thinner phone than the other Galaxy S25 models. It will have bezels measuring 1.32mm thin and will sport a thinner but larger vapor chamber. The phone is rumored to be the same size as the Galaxy S25+, albeit thinner.

It is also rumored to come with a dual camera setup on the back with a 200MP main shooter, and there is also a 12MP front-facing shooter for selfies.
