Motorola Unveils its New Moto G-series Phones

Motorola’s efforts at expanding its midrange smartphone lineup have been pretty impressive, and the brand recently introduced two new models with the unveiling of the Moto G and Moto G power 2025 editions, which hit markets beginning on May 2. With that in mind, let’s check out what they have to offer.

First up is the Moto G 2025 – powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and 4GB of RAM, the Moto G comes with a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the rear you’ll find a 50MP main camera, and the phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging support. For software, there’s Android 15 onboard (thankfully).

Meanwhile, the Moto G Power takes things up a notch – while it comes with the same processor, there’s 8GB of RAM this time around, and a larger 6.8-inch display with Gorilla Glass 5. Some features remain the same however, such as the 5,000 mAh battery and 30W charging, as well as the 50MP main camera. It does feature an 8MP ultrawide lens, something that’s not found on the standard Moto G.

As for pricing, the Moto G starts at around 200 bucks while the Moto G Power is a bit more expensive at 300 bucks. Both phones will also be available via a number of carriers in the US including T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, AT&T, and Cricket, to name a few.
