One UI 7 will bring more continuity features to Samsung phones and laptops

An obvious perk of owning an iPhone and a Mac computer are the continuity options Apple offers. This means that users can easily swap between devices and pickup where they left off. If you’re not an Apple user, don’t worry. The One UI 7 update will introduce more continuity features for Samsung phones and laptops.

This is according to a report from Android Authority. The report has uncovered several new continuity features that Samsung is bringing to its phones and laptops in the upcoming update. One of those features is camera continuity. This is where a photo captured on your Samsung Galaxy phone can be quickly edited and picked up on another device, like a Galaxy Book laptop.

It also supports features like cross-device copy and pasting, making it perfect for sharing links and text. There is also a “Continue apps” feature that lets users pick up where they left off on an app on their phone to another device like a tablet. Lastly, the update will make connecting to WiFi devices easier. For example, if you’re connected to a WiFi network on your phone, it will show up on other connected devices.

All these features are pretty useful, although the caveat is that you’ll need to own multiple Samsung devices. It seems that Samsung is trying to get more users into its ecosystem like what Apple is doing.
