When buying expensive smartphones, it always adds some peace of mind when manufacturers offer reliable repair options for their devices, which means that users have an easily-accessible means to get their devices fixed should they run into some hardware issues.

With that in mind, Oppo recently announced its premium repair services for the Find X8 series, which is available in select regions. Oppo says that it has trained thousands of customer service reps and personnel worldwide (12,000, according to the company), and this service also includes a free screen protection plan for Find X8 devices in certain regions such as Southeast Asia for a one-time free screen replacement for accidental damage.
For other markets, users will be able to call a dedicated support line for assistance, and will receive a loaner unit as they wait for their device to be repaired. In case no nearby offline service centre is available, Oppo will offer free send-in and pick-up repair services in select regions.
Just recently, Oppo sister brand (under BBK electronics) OnePlus announced a new program to deal with green line issues on its smartphones, which is referred to by the company as the “OnePlus Green Line Worry-Free Solution” and includes a lifetime warranty for select devices and regions.
