Recently, an online survey sent out by Samsung revealed a potential timeframe for the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. Now according to reliable tipster Max Jambor, they posted on X a rather cryptic message with the date for the 22nd of January, 2025, suggesting this could be when the Galaxy S25 will launch.
The previous report revealed a date of the 5th of January. This led to some skepticism as the 5th is a Sunday, an odd choice for a launch of a phone. However, it was later speculated that maybe this date could be for Samsung’s Galaxy Reserve program. It’s basically like an early pre-order of sorts.
Users can register their interest in reserving the handset, and if they do they could get extra perks like discounts or credits towards their purchase. The 22nd of January, 2025, on the other hand, is a Wednesday. Interestingly enough, the Galaxy S24 series was announced on the 17th of January, 2024, which is also a Wednesday, so this seems more probable.
If we are to assume that Samsung will take roughly two weeks between the launch and release, it means that the Galaxy S25 series could be officially released in the early part of February next year. Take this with a grain of salt since nothing official has been confirmed yet, but hopefully we’ll have more details soon.
