Samsung is known for their high-end flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. But in addition to high-end devices, Samsung actually makes some pretty decent and great value for money budget handsets too. Now thanks to leaked renders, we have an idea of what the Galaxy A26 could look like.
This is according to a report from Android Headlines who have shared exclusive renders and a video of the upcoming budget handset from Samsung. For the most part, there’s really not much to say about the design of the phone. It looks quite standard and is slightly reminiscent of the Galaxy A25, except with a different camera module design.
The report does claim that the handset will adopt the “Key Island” design. This is similar to the Galaxy A16 4G where Samsung basically put all physical buttons of the phone on one side of the handset. This is designed to make it easier for users to reach all the buttons.
As for its hardware, based on past benchmark sightings, the Galaxy A26 is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and could utilize the Samsung Exynos 1280 chipset. It is also expected to come with Android 15 preinstalled. There’s still no word on a launch date yet or pricing, but seeing as how the Galaxy A25 was priced at $300, we’re hoping that Samsung will maintain this price.
