Modern day smartphones are a lot slimmer than what they used to be back in the day. But according to the recent rumors, Samsung is working on a slimmer version of the Galaxy S25. Dubbed the Galaxy S25 Slim, thanks to a leak, we might have some details about the upcoming phone.
According to a post on X by tipster Ice Universe, the rumors are claiming that the Galaxy S25 Slim will apparently pack an “Ultra” set of cameras. Does this mean that the handset will feature the same cameras as the Galaxy S25 Ultra? That’s what we initially thought, but it has been suggested that only the main camera will be upgraded.
Based on the details, the Galaxy S25 Slim could feature the same main camera as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which according to the rumors will pack a 200MP sensor with OIS. This is a similar setup to the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. The handset saw an upgrade in the camera department which uses the same main shooter from the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The rest of the phone’s cameras continue to follow the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
It will be interesting to see how Samsung positions the Slim model. Last we heard, it could be a limited run production as Samsung wants to see how well the newer and slimmer model is received before committing to the lineup.
