Nintendo Drops its Own Music Streaming App, but There’s a Catch
As the world waits for the Switch 2 to make its debut, it seems that Nintendo is hell-bent on giving fans other things instead – just a few weeks after the launch of its own alarm clock (yes you read that right), Nintendo has now formally unveiled a music streaming app, which is available for Android and iOS devices.
Simply called Nintendo Music, the app features a wealth of different music tracks from a large selection of Nintendo games across different consoles and franchises. There’s a catch however – users will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to be able to use the app. On one hand, this kinda makes sense given that other streaming platforms require users to sign up first.
As for where it’s launching, the Nintendo Music app will be available for download in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Europe. This probably means that you’ll no longer have to resort to other music apps to get your gaming OST fix.
