Earlier this year, Motorola announced their new lineup of Razr foldable phones. Unlike Samsung’s foldables, Motorola’s foldables are actually relatively affordable. But it looks like the company could have an even cheaper model in the works in the form of the Motorola Razr 50s.
According to a post on X by OnLeaks, the specs and renders of the upcoming phone have been leaked. Assuming it’s accurate, we’re looking at a handset powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X. This means that it is by no means a powerful handset. It will also reportedly come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
We’re also looking at a 6.9-inch foldable display and a 3.6-inch cover screen. The Razr 50s is also rumored to pack a 4,200mAh battery and will also be IPX8 rated. The post claims that the phone will be announced on the 27th of September, so it’s only a few more days until we get all the official details.
Like we said, the use of the Dimensity 7300X means that the Razr 50s won’t be a particularly powerful phone. However, it should be pretty affordable and be appealing to those who like the foldable form factor but don’t want to pay a premium for it.
