Sony recently announced that it was expanding the color lineup for its WH-1000XM5 and WF-1000XM5 noise cancelling headphones and earbuds, which are now available in what the company calls “smoky pink.” They’re available for the same price as the more standard editions, and come with the same hardware specifications.
Let’s revisit the specs with these two – with the WF-1000XM5 earbuds, you’re getting up to a total of 24 hours of battery life, AI-based noise reduction algorithm and bone conduction sensor for clear calls, active noise cancellation, and a bit of water resistance making them safe for use in workouts and light rain.
Meanwhile, the highly-popular XM5 headphones come with a refined design, in addition to signature features such as active noise cancelling, up to 30 hours of playtime with built-in fast charging, support for touch controls, multi-point connectivity, as well as an integrated V1 processor for improved sound.
With all that being said, if the “regular” color variants weren’t enough for you, then this snazzier version might prove to be a more colorful addition to your audio setup.
