These Photos Supposedly Show the Switch 2’s Design

Another week, another Switch leak – it seems that Nintendo’s still-secret successor to its wildly-popular console has once again been “revealed” via unofficial leaks on the internet, although we have to say that this latest crop of photos is the most convincing so far.

Several 3D renders and even a tear-down photo shared by Andy Robinson from the Video Games Chronicle team show a pretty sleek-looking design, which is thought by many to be the next Switch console. While the overall design looks similar, there are some key differences based on the render.

This includes the addition of a secondary USB-C port on top of the handheld, as well as a revamped Joy-con design on the sides which now seems to feature a clip on design, instead of letting users slide in their controllers – some even suggest that this might be a magnetic attachment mechanism. Accompanying leaks suggest that the console might come with 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage.

As expected, Nintendo hasn’t commented so far on this latest leak, which joins dozens of earlier rumors about the Switch successor. Others claim that it will simply be called the “Switch 2,” while others have gone so far as to predict that it will feature a dual-screen design like the Nintendo DS.

Whatever the case, we’re pretty sure that Nintendo has another hit on its hand once the Switch successor gets announced.
