Specs of Infinix’s first foldable phone have leaked

Infinix is no stranger to smartphones. While the company might not be as big or as famous compared to other handset makers like Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, and so on, they have been churning out some pretty solid devices. Now it looks like the company is ready to dip their toes in the foldables market with the Infinix Zero Flip.

In a Facebook post by a Vietnamese retailer, the specs of the upcoming Infinix Zero Flip have been posted online. According to the post, the phone will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also sport a 3.64-inch cover display with a similar 120Hz refresh rate.

Just in case the name wasn’t a dead giveaway, the Infinix Zero Flip is a foldable phone with a clamshell form factor. This is versus other types of foldables that have adopted the phone-tablet hybrid design. Other specs include the use of a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,950mAh battery.

The handset is also expected to be accompanied by a dual camera setup that includes a 50MP main and a 10.8MP camera. It doesn’t sound like the most powerful foldable phone out there, but it could also mean that it could end up being a mid-range and affordable device.

There are still no details on an official launch yet, but hopefully this leak is an indicator that it could be coming soon.
