Blackview has their fingers in many pots. If you’re looking for a new mini PC, the company has you covered. The company also makes mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. They also make some pretty awesome power stations. At IFA 2024, Blackview has unveiled a bunch of new products that includes new phones, tablets, wearables, and PCs. So if you’re looking for something new for work, school, or personal use, they should have something that might be up your alley.

Rugged phones

If you’re someone that works in the field, like at a construction site, a survey site, out in the wild, then regular smartphones might not be the best choice. This is because many smartphones these days tend to be quite fragile. This is why if you’re looking for a rugged smartphone, Blackview has unveiled a couple of new models at IFA 2024.

This includes the Blackview BL9300 and the BL9000 Pro. Starting with the BL9300, the company claims that this is the world’s first 5G rugged smartphone. It comes with useful features like satellite communication, which might be useful for those who are out in the wild and might not always have access to a stable or consistent cellular connection. It is not a slim device by any means, as you can see in the photo.

This is largely thanks to one of its features, which is a built-in DLP projector. This allows the device to pull double duty as a smartphone and a projector, which is honestly kind of cool. Other features include a 22km intercom function, which could be useful if you need to stay in constant contact with your team.

As for the BL9000 Pro, this is an Android phone that features support for high-definition thermal imaging. It is kind of a niche device since not everyone needs such a feature, but for those who do, it is there. It also supports FLIR Lepton 3.5 technology.

Smartphones

If you don’t need a rugged device and want something a bit more conventional, Blackview has you covered too. This includes the Blackview Shark 9, the successor to the Shark 8. This is a 5G camera flagship phone that the company is targeting towards younger users. It has a simple and modern design and packs a 50MP Samsung camera.

In addition to the Shark 9, Blackview has also announced the Hero 10 at IFA 2024. This is the company’s latest foldable smartphone that sports an ultra compact design. If you hate how bulky modern day foldables get, this could be a good choice. It also comes with a 100MP camera that will let you take some pretty high-definition and high-quality photos.

Tablets

In addition to smartphones, Blackview has also announced a couple of new tablets at IFA 2024. This includes the Active 10 Pro. This is the latest rugged tablet from the company. The tablet comes with support for 5G, a 100MP camera, and a set of Harman Kardon speakers. What’s interesting about this device is that it seems to be designed for outdoors use, thanks to the built-in ultra-bright LED light that can apparently double as a campaign light. Even if you don’t have a need for the light, the Active 10 Pro packs a massive 30,000mAh battery that should leave most tablets in the dust when it comes to battery life.

Next up, there is the Blackview MEGA 8. This is a 13-inch tablet that features a 90Hz refresh rate. This is perfect for those who want a tablet for media consumption or want a larger screen for drawing purposes. It comes with a slightly smaller 11,000mAh battery compared to the Active 10 Pro, but it should be more than enough for most use case scenarios. The tablet also packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and runs on Blackview’s DokeOS_P.

Laptops and mini PCs

As we previously mentioned, Blackview has fingers in many pots, and one of them is computers. At IFA 2024, Blackview announced two new computing devices. This includes the AceBook 12. This is a 16-inch ultra-light laptop that is powered by the Intel i5 10th generation N57 processor. It comes with 16GB of RAM, which should be more than sufficient for most day-to-day tasks, along with 512GB of storage. The larger display and lightweight body should make it the perfect productivity device that you can bring around with you.

If you prefer something a bit more “permanent”, there is the Blackview MP100. This is a mini PC, another one of Blackview’s specialities. This mini PC is powered by an AMD Ryzen CPU. If you’re looking for a PC that won’t take up too much space and can double as a media hub for your living room to watch movies and play games on, the MP100 could be it.

Wearables

Last but not least, Blackview has a new wearable for those who are looking for a new smartwatch that has a long-lasting battery. This comes in the form of the Blackview R60. This smartwatch comes with a 1.96-inch AMOLED square display. Blackview actually advertises this wearable for swimmers.

It also comes with the latest GoMore algorithm. This is an algorithm that offers features like personalized AI coaching programs, fitness and health indicators, and more. The smartwatch also packs an 800mAh battery that should allow you to use it for a longer period of time before it needs to be recharged.
