Samsung Launches Another Galaxy Book4 Edge, this Time with a More Modest Processor

One of the highlights of Samsung’s Galaxy Book4 series is the fact that they come with Qualcomm’s new Arm-based processors, the Snapdragon X series. While it’s been some time now since the launch of the first Galaxy Book4 Edge model, Samsung has unveiled another version of the laptop, which comes with a slightly different processor.

We say “slightly different” because it features the Snapdragon X Plus inside, albeit an 8-core variant, as opposed to the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite model which launched months ago. This does make for a more affordable machine, and Samsung is confident that the lower-tier processor inside doesn’t necessarily mean a sub-par experience. In fact, it comes with a lot of the same features, including Microsoft CoPilot+, Galaxy AI software, as well as compatibility with the rest of Samsung’s product ecosystem.

Other features include a 15.6-inch display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution and 300nits of brightness, as well as 16GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, and a 61.2 Wh battery with 65W charging support. With all that being said, folks looking to get their hands on one will have to wait just a bit more, as the laptop launches in regions including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the UK and the U.S. later in October.
