It is no secret that when it comes to consumer-grade audio products, Bang & Olufsen create some of the best-looking and most luxurious products around. They also do not come cheap, especially compared to the competition. This is no different with their latest pair of headphones, the Beoplay H100.
The Beoplay H100 are the company’s latest pair of headphones. They are also calling it their “most advanced and luxurious headphones to date”, and its price is both completely shocking but also not surprising at the same time. If you are keen, they will set you back a whopping $1,549.
This makes the headphones even more expensive than the Beoplay H95, which at $999 was already kind of pricey. So what will you get for a cool $1,500? According to Bang & Olufsen, the H100s will feature premium materials such as lambskin leather for the ear pads. There is also the use of aluminum for the headband which is covered by a knitted cloth. There is even a glass panel on the earcups which also acts as its touch interface.
As for the actual headphones themselves, the H100s feature a pair of 40mm drivers. They also support hi-res audio, Dolby Atmos, and head tracking. The headphones feature EarSense that can monitor the fit and can adjust its sound profile accordingly. As expected, the headphones also feature active noise cancellation technology. This is achieved with the 10 built-in microphones.
In terms of battery life, the Beoplay H100 will last up to 34 hours with ANC enabled, or up to 90 days in standby. If for whatever reason you think $1,549 is worth spending on headphones, you can grab a pair via Bang & Olufsen’s website.
