0

Vivo recently announced the launch of the Vivo V40 series, which includes two devices, the V40 and V40 Pro. Priced starting at around €440 and €600 (when converted), the new phones come with some attractive specs, although they’re currently exclusive to Indian markets. Vivo does say that they will be made available for more regions later on.

That said, both devices come with some similarities, including a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness, 50MP front facing cameras, as well as 5,500 mAh batteries with 80W fast-charging speeds. Both also max out at 12GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage.

There are differences with regards to performance and camera specs, however. For one, the Vivo V40 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the V40 Pro packs a more powerful Dimensity 9200+. For cameras, the V40 Pro comes with a triple camera setup including a 50MP camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. For the base model, there’s a dual camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

The phones come in Meteor Blue, Moonlight White, and Stellar Silver, while the regular V40 model is available in additional Nebula Purple and Sunglow Peach variants.
