Samsung’s New Galaxy F14 is a 4G Phone in 2024

While most people will probably know Samsung from its flagship devices like the Galaxy S and Z series, the company nevertheless makes a lot of profit from lower-end devices. As such, it looks like Samsung once again caters to budget-conscious buyers with the new Galaxy F14, a 4G smartphone.

While some might scoff at the 4G connectivity limitation, it is somewhat understandable as that the phone is currently available for Indian markets. Other tell-tale signs of its budget origins include a Snapdragon 680 chipset inside, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 6.7-inch screen with a 1080p resolution, as well as your usual trio of camera which include 2MP depth and macro sensors.

Other details include expandable storage with a microSD card, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a single speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack; of course, the phone features an all-plastic build to cut costs. The phone runs on a large 5,000 mAh battery, which is a plus for folks who just want an all-day phone. For software, there’s Android 14 with One UI 6.1.

As for pricing, it will be available for INR 8,999, which is around a hundred bucks when converted.
