Realme once again expanded its smartphone lineup with the Realme 13 Pro series, which has recently been launched in India. The 13 Pro Series consists of two models which include the Realme 13 Pro+ and Realme 13 Pro, and according to Realme feature the industry’s “first AI photography architecture.”
Available in “Monet Gold,” “Monet Purple,” and “Emerald Green,” the Realme 13 Pro phones feature a design that’s fairly reminiscent of most recent smartphones from a majority of Chinese brands, especially with the massive circular camera bump. With that said, the phones also feature IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
Powering the phones is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Chipset, which works alongside an Adreno 710 GPU for gaming duties. Realme says that the phones are designed with a 9-layer cooling system; for memory and storage, there’s up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage available.
For photography, the Realme 13 Pro+ packs a dual Sony main camera system with a 50MP OIS main camera (Sony LYT-701 sensor) and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (Sony LYT-600 sensor), with 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Realme 13 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera sensor.
Both models come with Realme’s HYPERIMAGE+ AI photography architecture, which works with a combination of on-device AI algorithms, cloud-based AI image editing for enhanced features like AI Ultra Clarity, AI Smart Removal, and AI Group Photo Enhance.
In terms of availability, pre-orders for both smartphones will begin in India on July 30th through mainline channels after the launch event. The starting price for the 8GB/128GB variant with offers is ₹26,999 (around $320).
