There’s been no shortage of Pixel 9 leaks over the past few months – as is the tradition with any new Google smartphone, the internet goes all-out to find out all it can about upcoming Pixel devices (most of the time without much resistance). That aside, a new post shows what could be two official color variants of the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro XL.
The photos were shared by X/Twitter user @Sudhanshu1414 and shows the Pixel 9 in pink, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL in what appears to be Porcelain. The renders confirm the many leaks that we’ve previously seen, which feature the new flat sides and rear panel, as well as redesigned camera bar.
It was recently reported that Google will give Pixel 9 customers free access to SOS satellite connectivity. However, this is only good for two years, after which users might need to pay a fee, the cost of which remains unclear at the moment.
Recently, leaked hardware specs predict that Google might be using newer camera sensors on some of the upcoming Pixel 9 models. For one, Google will be using a brand-new Sony IMX858 sensor in the base model Pixel 9, which allows for better low-light performance. Another new change includes a newer selfie camera with autofocus, a feature that was previously reserved for the Pro Pixel models.
The Pixel 9 series launches on August 13.
