New Boost Mobile 5G plans are cheaper than ever

Carrier plans are constantly changing. While they might offer customers more perks, this usually comes at the expense of increased prices. Take for example T-Mobile who used to bill themselves as the “un-carrier”. The company has hiked its prices in recent times, and if it’s starting to get to you, it might be time to check out these new Boost Mobile 5G plans.

Boost Mobile has announced a revamp to its mobile plans where they’re now offering more affordable 5G plans for both prepaid and postpaid users. There are three main plans that customers can choose from. This includes its “Unlimited” plan priced at $25 a month which includes unlimited talk, text, and data. Keep in mind that while it claims “unlimited data”, it is capped at 30GB. There is also no hotspot.

Next up is the “Unlimited+” plan at $50 a month. This offers 40GB of “unlimited” data and also allows for hotspotting. There is also international roaming. Last but not least, there is the “Unlimited Premium” plan at $60 a month. This offers 50GB of data and higher potential savings when you buy a new device through them.

Whether or not this will translate into savings for you will depend on your current needs. One thing to note is that unlike AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, Boost Mobile is an MVNO similar to services like Google Fi. It essentially piggybacks on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Dish’s 5G networks.
