OnePlus recently confirmed that they will be hosting its Summer Launch Event on the 16th of July. The company has already revealed what products will be announced. This includes the OnePlus Pad 2, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro, and the OnePlus Watch 2R. Now the company has shared additional details ahead of the launch.
Starting with the OnePlus Pad 2, this will be the successor to the original OnePlus Pad. It will come with a large 12.1-inch 7:5 ratio display. Under the hood, it will be powered by what OnePlus is calling an “industry-leading chipset”. We’re not sure what this means as it could refer to a number of things, although leaked specs have suggested the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Next up are the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. According to OnePlus, these are earbuds designed to be mid-ranged devices. But they will still offer features like ANC with up to 49dB of noise cancellation. The earbuds also sport 12.4mm drivers with BassWave 2.0 support. They are available in Starry Black and Soft Jade finish options.
Last but not least is the OnePlus Watch 2R. This is the cheaper alternative to the OnePlus Watch 2. OnePlus says that the new smartwatch offers up to 100 hours of battery life and uses an aluminum chassis. This is versus the stainless steel found on the OnePlus Watch 2. Recently leaked specs have indicated that the use of aluminum will bring the price down, but the rest of the hardware is expected to remain nearly identical.
