The OnePlus Pad Pro is a beast, but you can’t buy it yet

0

The original OnePlus Pad was launched back in 2023. If you were looking forward to a successor, then you’re in luck. OnePlus has since officially announced its next tablet which comes in the form of the OnePlus Pad Pro. Unfortunately, you might not be able to get your hands on it, at least for now.

The tablet was announced at an event in China. The company did not mention if there are plans to bring it to the US or global markets, so we’ll have to wait and see. The optimistic side of us thinks that it will eventually launch stateside. OnePlus already has operations in the US so why not?

As for specs, the OnePlus Pad Pro is a beast. It features a massive 12.1-inch 3K LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be powering it. The company also mentioned a new Smart Stylus Pro accessory that they claim will offer an experience similar to writing on paper.

The base model of the tablet comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the higher-end model will pack 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There’s no mention of battery size or charging speeds. Should this tablet launch stateside, it will go up against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 series, but could be more tempting due to its price.

The starting price of the tablet is 2,799 yuan, which is roughly $385 after conversion, making it pretty affordable.
