The Motorola Razr 50 series will be the latest lineup of foldable phones for the company. We’ve been treated to a bunch of leaks and rumors, but a launch date for the Razr 50 series has yet to be confirmed. Now thanks to a report from Smartprix, it seems that the new phones could debut as soon as this July.
According to the report, the Motorola Razr 50 series could launch this July. If that is true, it would be roughly a month later than the Razr 40 series which debuted in June 2023. There are two phones that are rumored to make their debut. This includes the Razr 50 and the Razr 50 Ultra.
Both phones will adopt the same clamshell design. The main difference lies in their display and chipset of choice. The base Razr 50 model is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G chipset and will sport a 6.9-inch foldable display and a 3.63-inch cover display.
As for the Razr 50 Ultra, it will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for its chipset. Its foldable display will be the same at 6.9-inches, but its cover screen is rumored to be larger coming in at 4-inches. If the July launch date is true, then we won’t have to wait too long for the official details.
