If you were looking to try out Google’s Gemini AI app for your smartphone, then you’re in luck – Google recently expanded the number of countries where the Gemini app will be available for download, which now includes several regions in Europe, as well as the United Kingdom.

First launched in limited regions back in February, Gemini for mobile devices can be downloaded via the Google Play Store, or through a prompt that appears when using Google Assistant on Android. This is only the first of many updates for Gemini, which will soon get extensions for other Google services such as Calendar, Keep, and more.

Meanwhile, iOS users will be able to access the Gemini app in the following weeks. Google has also updated the app to support more languages including Arabic, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Google went all-in with its AI efforts over the past couple of years, demonstrating a ton of new and upcoming Gemini-based models during Google I/O 2024 back in May.
