Verizon is offering YouTube Premium at a discounted price

If you hate ads on YouTube, you have two options – get an ad blocker or subscribe to YouTube Premium. The latter is obviously the preferred option, but at $13 a month, YouTube Premium isn’t exactly cheap. Thankfully, Verizon is making it easier by offering a YouTube Premium subscription at a discounted price of $10.

The carrier has announced that they will be adding YouTube Premium to its myPlan perks. For those unfamiliar, Verizon’s myPlan perks are basically a la carte subscriptions/services that you can tack onto your existing plan. This means that instead of paying more for a bundle which could include services you don’t want or need, you can pick and choose for services that you do want.

In this instance, YouTube Premium will be one of the new options. Verizon is also offering it at a discounted rate of 30%. This means that instead of paying $13 a month if you subscribe directly from YouTube, you’ll only have to pay $10. As long as your subscription is active, you’ll get all the perks of YouTube Premium.

This includes the ability to watch videos without ads, download videos for offline, and access to YouTube Music. For $10, it’s actually a pretty decent deal that could be worth checking out if you’re a Verizon customer.
