The TCL 50 LE will soon be Available for Verizon Customers

If you’re a Verizon user and are looking for a relatively-affordable prepaid smartphone, then you might want to check out the new TCL 50 LE. Available via Verizon Prepaid starting on May 30, TCL’s wallet-friendly 50 Series smartphones packs some decent specs for just $79.99.

In terms of specs, the TCL 50 LE comes with a large 6.56-inch display with a 720 X 1612 HD+ resolution, although it does get smooth thanks to the 90Hz refresh rate onboard. Inside is a mediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which isn’t anything fancy but then again the phone is meant to get you all the basics at an affordable price. There is support for micro SD cards though with up to 512GB in capacity.

For cameras, there’s a dual array setup consisting of a 13MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP camera in front. Powering the phone is a 4,000 mAh battery, a decent size given the specs of the device. Starting next month, the TCL 50 LE will also be available at Walmart (via Verizon) on June 14, and Visible by Verizon on June 27.
