Sony (via its official PlayStation brand) recently announced the upcoming “Days of Play” celebration, an event catered for the ever-loyal PlayStation fanbase. Already on its seventh year, the event kicks off on May 29, and PlayStation has likewise announced a handful of surprises for its fans.
For one, Sony will be giving away new avatars to all PlayStation players throughout Days of Play. Starting on May 29, players can access avatars featuring popular titles that will be offered through PlayStation Plus during Days of Play, which can be found on the PlayStation Plus web page or via the PlayStation Plus Days of Play page on PS5 or PS4 consoles for the voucher code.
There’s a lot more – PlayStation Plus members get a bunch of free games in June, including SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever and Streets of Rage 4. Additionally, PS2 classics like Tomb Raider Legend, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be available for Premium members starting June 11th. Extra and Premium members can also enjoy a variety of PS4 and PS5 games through the Game Catalog.
Sony is also offering deals on hardware, with up to $50 off on a PS5 console and $100 on the PlayStation VR2 bundle. Select PS5 games are also discounted, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and The Last of Us Part II Remastered. Additionally, new and existing PlayStation Plus members can also score savings on memberships and content during the celebration.
