Acer unveils new AI-powered Chromebook Plus laptops

0

When Google first launched their Chromebook Plus lineup of laptops, Acer was one of the first few companies to get on board with it. If you’re looking for some updated models, then you’re in luck. Acer has since announced a couple of new Chromebook Plus laptops that come with Gemini AI in it.

These new laptops come in the form of the Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714 and Acer Chromebook Plus 516 GE. The former is a laptop-tablet hybrid, while the latter, according to Acer, is designed to be a cloud gaming-optimized laptop. While they’re both aimed at different users, they do share one thing in common – Gemini AI.

Google recently announced that they would be bringing Gemini AI to its Chromebook Plus computers. This will unlock features like generative wallpapers and video backgrounds, as well as editing features like the Magic Editor for Google Photos. These are some of the AI features that you can expect to see in Acer’s new laptops as well.
