In addition to its more wallet-friendly A-series phones, Samsung also sells its M-series handsets for much less than its flagship devices, although they are more commonly found in developing markets across the world. With that in mind, Samsung Brazil recently unveiled the Galaxy M35, which shares a ton of similarities with the Galaxy A35.
For one, it also comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display, which features an FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The design is also similar to that of the Galaxy A35, featuring an entirely plastic build. The phone is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chipset, aided by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and runs on a large 6,000 mAh battery. Software comes in the form of Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top, and Samsung does promise up to four years of Android version upgrades, with five years of security patches.
For camera hardware, there’s a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, working in tandem with a 2MP macro sensor, and an 8MP ultra wide sensor. Selfies are handled by a 13MP camera in front.
It’s currently exclusive for buyers in Brazil, going for around $470 when converted – with that being said, there’s no word yet of when it will come to more markets internationally, but we imagine that a formal announcement of sorts shouldn’t be too far from now.
