Following the leaks and rumors, Samsung officially confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024 earlier this year. The company has since kept mum on the specifics of the device, including things like price. Now according to the latest rumors, the pricing of the Galaxy Ring has been revealed and we’re not too pleased by it.
In a post on X by tipster Yogesh Brar, it seems that the wearable could be priced around $300-$350. For context, you can actually grab the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 for less online. But it is also around the same price as the Oura, which will be the Galaxy Ring’s main competitor.

You might think that’s alright, but that’s not all. Speaking to Android Authority, Brar revealed that there is a chance the Galaxy Ring could also come with a subscription. This means that the pricing for the Galaxy Ring will be $300-$350 plus a subscription fee of “under $10” a month. That’s kind of nuts.
We’re not sure what kind of services or features the Galaxy Ring could have to warrant a subscription. Samsung has actually hinted at this before. In an interview with CNBC earlier this year, Samsung Electronics Vice President and Head of Digital Health Team, Dr. Hon Pak suggested that Samsung is considering a subscription fee for the Samsung Health app.
The Galaxy Ring is expected to be a more health-focused device, so maybe with additional health tracking and fitness related features, it could end up being part of a subscription plan. Samsung hasn’t officially announced anything yet. Hopefully we’ll get more details at the next Galaxy Unpacked event which is said to take place in July.
