The first Honor flip phone will have the largest screen amongst its peers

Honor is no stranger when it comes to foldable phones. But if there is one form factor Honor hasn’t launched yet, it would be the flip form factor. We heard rumors about the device last year but that didn’t come to pass, although Honor has since confirmed that they plan to launch such a device later this year.

Now according to a post on Weibo by Digital Chat Station, we might have an idea of what to expect from the first Honor flip phone. According to the report, one of the main standout features of the device would be its external display. Apparently it will be super huge, possibly the biggest external display we’ve seen in a flip phone.

This will be interesting because companies like Samsung and Motorola have made efforts to increase the external display of their flip phones. We’re not sure how much larger Honor’s flip phone’s external display will be, but we have to wonder if such a massive external display makes sense.

One of the advantages of the flip form factor over the tablet form factor is its pocketability. If the external display is too big, it might ruin that. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see so take it with a grain of salt for now.
