You can now Emulate PSP Games on iOS

Following Apple’s change in policies regarding emulation apps on its devices and platforms, it looks like the super-popular PPSSPP emulation app is now available for download via the app store. The app runs on compatible products including iPhones and iPads, and allows iOS users to run PSP software on their devices.

The app made its debut years ago on Android, and comes with a ton of features including customizable controls, upscaling, save states, and a whole lot more. While it is free, there is also a separate paid version which serves as a way for users to support the app’s developer. Thankfully, the app doesn’t come with any ads and special tracking requirements.

With that being said, the app follows the likes of Delta emulator which allows users to run older Nintendo system titles. Apple recently changed its developer guidelines and policies to allow emulators via the App Store, a move that iOS users have long yearned for.

It should be said however that emulators have long been available for iPhones, although users previously had to jailbreak their devices to get them running.
