While most buyers will know Samsung from its many smartphones, TVs, and home appliances, the South Korean company also pushes a lot of development towards its Windows-powered Galaxy Book range, which pack premium hardware in addition to performance. With that in mind, the company recently unveiled the Galaxy Book4 Edge, which runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chip.

The laptop’s launch was announced not too long after Microsoft’s event, which saw the debut of several Copilot+ PCs, as well as Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors. Memory maxes out at 16GB RAM alongside 1TB of storage.

In addition to the X Elite chip inside, the Galaxy Book4 Edge also features 45 TOPS NPU processing capabilities, in addition to Microsoft’s Copilot+ which itself packs a ton of AI-powered features onboard. This includes Live Caption support, hybrid AI and Wifi 7 for connectivity, and more.

The laptop also features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display complete with a 120Hz refresh rate, touch control and “Auto Super Resolution,” in addition to Samsung Knox for real-time threat detection and overall device security. For ports, the Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with USB-C support, USB-A, HMDI 2.1, microSD, and 3.5mm audio ports.

In terms of availability, the Galaxy Book4 Edge will be available for purchase starting June 18th, 2024 on Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop App, and exclusively at Best Buy.

Prices start at $1,349.99 for the 14-inch model and go up to $1,749.99 for the larger 16-inch version, which both come in a sleek, premium finish made from recycled materials. As a pre-order incentive, Samsung is offering a free 50-inch Crystal UHD 4K TV to those who pre-order through their website or app.
